Earlier this week, in the midst of the challenges posed by COVID-19 and distance learning, I had to reschedule a photoshoot with Niya. What followed was the usual magic of a celebratory photoshoot. The soft, golden light of the setting sun bathed the scene in an ethereal glow.

Reviewing the shots later, I was all smiles. The shuffle at the start of the shoot led to some of the most candid, authentic, and stunning photographs I'd ever taken. The lesson here? The little mix-ups of life can add beautiful moments to our experiences.
